A three-part workshop series on repair, construction, and upcycling by Material Matters in collaboration with UBC Slow Fashion Season (circular textiles, sustainable fibre research cluster.) Exploring how individual action can contribute to longer product lifecycles and a more circular fashion system.

Slow Fashion Runway Show
At the end of Slow Fashion Season 2026, UBC Museum of Anthropology hosted an end of the year Susutainable Fashion Challenge Show. Material Matters participated in the Cerenonial category with ballgowns made from disgarded sail cloth.
